Driver Installation issue: Error 48 5 623 577

This is basically a machine specific issue and occurs when driver isn’t signed or the windows driver database is corrupted.

Troubleshooting steps / Workaround:

This error might get solved by using the latest runtime package 6.64 cmd-line, available at link:

If you are already using this runtime version, or if the error persists, please verify the following:

1) Make sure no other service is using port 1947 and this should be taken only by the hasplms.exe process PID.

2) Open command prompt in elevated mode (Run As Administrator) and execute the following commands to disable signature enforcement:

bcdedit -set LOADOPTIONS DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON

3) Now restart the machine

Then try installing the Runtime 6.64 again after the machine is rebooted.

**NOTE** To re- enable driver signing verification, execute the following commands :

bcdedit -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF

Restart the machine.

4) Run Command prompt with Administrator privileges.

Make sure AksFridge driver is properly loaded. This can be checked by executing following command

sc queryex aksfridge  (It should be in RUNNING state).
